How to Tell Stories to Children combines the science of storytelling with a step-by-step method for parents, grandparents, and educators. Using an evolutionary lens, it shifts the focus of storytelling from the narrative, or story, to the relationship that arises between speaker and listener. Practice exercises and sample stories bring it to life.
